MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:   

• Valid Ohio Teaching License in Integrated Language Arts
• Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children
• Ambitious, high -- energy person
• Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
• Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
• Familiar with and capable of utilizing Smart Board technology to enhance instruction
• Excellent classroom management techniques

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience as a secondary Language Arts teacher
• Experience in working with special needs students
• A desire to affect change in the lives of children
