Robert Half Tier 1 Technical Support | Helpdesk in Kansas City, Missouri

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the Information Technology industry, located in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. The role of a Tier 1 Technical Support | Helpdesk is crucial to our team. Your primary function will be to provide first-line technical support to our customers, handling a variety of issues from password resets to network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer inquiries and issues through JIRA Service Management (Atlassian) Ticketing system.

• Provide Tier 1 technical support, including basic troubleshooting, hardware troubleshooting, and network troubleshooting.

• Handle password reset requests and resolve printing issues.

• Provide support for MS Office Suite and MS Office 365 applications.

• Conduct general Windows troubleshooting and manage Windows updates.

• Use Active Directory and Configuration Management skills to maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Assist in monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

• Provide technical support and apply your knowledge of basic network troubleshooting.

• Handle printer hardware and printer problems to ensure smooth operations.

• Troubleshoot and triage network connectivity issues using provided documentation. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Tier 1 Technical Support or Helpdesk role

• Skilled in operating Active Directory and Configuration Management

• Ability to provide top-notch technical support to clients

• Experience in Tier 1 Support

• Proficient in basic and advanced network troubleshooting

• Familiarity with password reset protocols and processes

• Experience with printer hardware and resolving printer problems

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Office 365

• Proven track record of efficient problem-solving and hardware troubleshooting

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor
