The Role

The role of the Solutions Development Coordinator is to act as the network sourcing developer, and in many instances is the first WarehouseQuote interaction with a prospective 3 rd party Warehouse. This position consists of varying responsibilities and duties related to Warehouse sourcing and relations (Identification, Qualification, and Nurturing). This role works directly with the Sales department to qualify leads and understand the customer-s scope of work to identify and build a solution tailored to our clients- needs. Additional responsibilities could include: Research and market analysis, conducting warehouse partner business reviews, overall managing the relationship and development of said 3 rd party Warehouse Network, and working with other departments to onboard any Closed-Won business.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

  • Source top tier Warehouse Partners to bring into our network - based on WHQ processes

  • Build and maintain a rapport within our professional network of Warehouse Partners

  • Gain a vast understanding of the proficiencies of our Partner Network

  • Collaborate with Sales Team to gain foresight into upcoming marketing campaigns and initiatives

  • Collaborate with Sales Team to review opportunities to better understand the customer-s scope of work and qualify opportunities

  • Build Project Specifications from Customer Intake Profiles and Discovery calls for frictionless proposals to our Warehouse Partners

  • Utilize our Partner network to find the -best fit- for each business opportunity

  • Work to obtain Request for Proposals (RFP) from existing or new Warehouse Partners

  • Collaborate intra department to understand ever-evolving customer needs

  • Use CRM to understand network health

  • Own internal and external onboarding handoff(s) for closed-won business

  • Building an understanding of additional services our company offers as a full service logistics provider

  • Collaborate with the team to Identify, Discuss, and Solve issues that arise, and to help build processes.

  • Self-starter that-s willing to take ownership of every situation

  • Confident and knowledgeable when interacting with all team members & external parties

  • Able to identify tasks that need addressed and tackle them head-on

  • Willing to go the extra mile for team members and clients

  • Sensitive to confidential information and matters

  • Freight Forwarding/Logistics experience is a plus

  • Bachelors or advanced degree preferred
