Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in a city in Missouri. In the financial industry, this role will involve managing and reconciling accounts, as well as handling various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Conduct Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Prepare and post Journal Entries

• Manage the Month End Close process

• Perform Account Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Conduct Bank Account Reconciliation and Cash Reconciliations

• Handle Credit Card Reconciliation and Daily Reconciliation

• Involve in Fund Accounting and Non-Profit Fund Accounting

• Manage Grant Accounting and Non-profit Accounting

• Participate in Audit processes and Financial Reconciliation.

Requirements • Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven ability to perform Bank Reconciliations.

• Experience in creating and maintaining Journal Entries.

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures.

• Capability to perform Account Reconciliation.

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation.

• Knowledge and experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

• Practical skills in Bank Account Reconciliation.

• Ability to conduct Cash Reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Credit Card Reconciliation.

• Experience with Daily Reconciliation procedures.

• Knowledge of Financial Reconciliation.

• Proven experience in Fund Accounting.

• Experience in Fund Accounting within a Non-Profit context.

• Familiarity with Grant Accounting.

• Proven experience in Non-profit Accounting.

• Audit experience, preferably within a fund accounting context.
