This position is located at our corporate headquarters, in the premier downtown Power & Light District of Kansas City, where everything is either steps or a streetcar ride away. The Associate Project Manager at our corporate headquarters has an integral role in supporting various projects and programs that support our Franchise Field and Support Teams. As an Associate Project Manager, you will assist Program and Project Managers with key franchise projects, including but not limited to, Real Estate, Franchise Transfers, Recognition Programs, Process Automation, Marketing, and coordinating the distribution of key reports that help our Franchise Field and Support teams consult with our franchisees on KPI performances.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with internal project-related activities, including the initiation, planning, execution, and control of projects involving multiple people, processes, and components.

• Provide support for the project managers and complete project tasks as assigned.

• Manage stand-alone internal projects.

• Assist with project(s) or pieces of project(s) that typically have short timelines.

• Attend meetings, in person and over electronic media, to provide administrative assistance and advice.

• Execute any assigned project tasks.

• Actively look for ways to improve project delivery.

• Schedule and coordinate project events.

Qualifications

• Introduction to formal project management methodologies.

• Track record of establishing priorities and deadlines.

• Effective written and oral presentation skills.

• Associate degree in a related field or a combination of 2 years of education and work experience.
