Responsibilities

Providence Medical Center (PMC) is looking for afull time day shift Occupational Therapist (OT)to be a part of our growing Outpatient Rehab t eam. As our new Occupational Therapist (OT), you will:

• our therapists see a variety of patient diagnoses that include orthopedic, neurologic and lymphedema. The therapist who fills this position will also have the opportunity to work in the acute hospital setting

• provide prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders

• function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team

• therapy for occupations, performance patterns, performance skills, environment and context

• perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy

• current state Occupational Therapy certification/license

• one year of outpatient experience, preferred

• current BLS (AHA) certificate

• National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC, preferred
