Seeking an entry level Welder/Fitter in KCK!

Job Description

Steel welding on a daily basis to create custom-designed machinery for the quarry construction and grain manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of structural welding, including preparation, welding, and finishing operations.

• Work in a busy shop with a growing customer base and specified production deadlines.

• Train to become fitters for a higher pay rate.

Essential Skills

• Experience with MIG welding.

• Knowledge of steel fabrication.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.

Work Environment

Work in a metal fabrication shop located in KCK. The shift is from 6am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday with optional overtime on Fridays, usually working about 6 hours of overtime.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $43680.00/yr.

1st shift M-Th with 3 day weekends, no layoffs, 401k retirement plan, medical, HSA, dental, vision, 8 company-paid holidays. They like to cross train and promote from within
