Customer Service Representative Location: Kalamazoo, Michigan

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing customer services relating to sales, promotions, installations, and communications.
  • Ensuring strong customer relations by resolving claims and complaints fairly and effectively while adhering to consumer laws.
  • Developing organization-wide initiatives to proactively inform and educate customers.
  • Developing improvement plans in response to customer surveys to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Documenting customer interactions, feedback, and resolutions to improve service strategies.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales and technical support, to address customer concerns efficiently.
  • Identifying recurring customer issues and recommending solutions to enhance processes and service quality.
  • Assisting with training new employees on customer service best practices and company policies.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.

*Qualifications: *

  • Minimum of 2 or more years of customer service experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to de-escalate tense situations and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
  • Adaptability to changing processes and customer needs.
