Description We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and addressing customer inquiries. You will also oversee customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate entry of invoices in multiple currencies.

• Efficiently handle bank reconciliation tasks.

• Process payable and receivable checks.

• Manage credit card payments and manual entries.

• Conduct research and resolve accounts payable/receivable questions with vendors/customers.

• Communicate with Customers/Suppliers regarding payment status.

• Undertake additional duties as required.

• Manage the process of accounts payable/accounts receivable.

• Use Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, and cloud ERP for various tasks.

• Monitor cash applications and cash collections. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential

• Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Billing procedures and operations

• Familiarity with Cash Applications is required

• Experience in Cash Collections is a plus

• Competency in Commercial Collections is necessary

• Must have working knowledge of Excel

• Experience in using Oracle software is beneficial

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must

• Knowledge of SAP software is required

• Familiarity with Cloud ERP systems is advantageous

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) is beneficial

• Must be proficient in Word
