We are in search of a Systems Administrator for our team based in Kailua, Hawaii. In this role, you will be tasked with providing application support to employees, maintaining personal computers and related hardware, and assisting Network Engineers with software and hardware installation. This role offers a contract employment opportunity. Skills required include training, Microsoft, operating system knowledge, computer system, desktop hardware, computer skills, business unit, computer hardware, service level agreements, utilities, user support, application support, and maintenance requests. Responsibilities:

• Provide application support to employees ensuring prompt, professional, and courteous response to requests for computer services

• Maintain personal computers and related hardware to ensure optimal performance

• Assist Network Engineers with the installation of software and hardware

• Perform computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations

• Monitor and control computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor

• Provide user support training and education to assist end users with problems and requests for information and equipment specifications

• Install and implement personal and network computer equipment

• Maintain service level agreements with various end-user departments and enterprise business units

• Monitor hardware systems using operating systems utilities

• Maintain corporate headquarters by ensuring a deep connection with our Roseville neighbors and community.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar IT role

• Proficient in Microsoft operating systems and applications

• Experience with computer systems, desktop hardware, and computer hardware

• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols

• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms

• Understanding of Service Level Agreements and their application in a business setting

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Demonstrated experience in providing Deskside Support and User Support

• Knowledge of application support and ability to handle maintenance requests effectively

• Experience in training and guiding staff on new systems or software

• Ability to work with different business units and provide IT solutions to meet their needs

• Knowledge of medical coverage and vaccinations, particularly relating to corporate health policies

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and equipment specifications

• Understanding of utilities and their role in maintaining computer systems

• Proven computer skills, including programming and data analysis.

• Must be able to work at corporate headquarters

• Knowledge of vaccines such as Mumps is an advantage
