Position Specific Description

The Associate Business Management Analyst will support the overall P&L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position supports the business manager in developing and executing an overall strategy for individual generating assets. The role will focus on collecting, analyzing, and ensuring data fidelity to allow the business management team to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and support the decision making process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Completes financial, operational, or technical project analysis

• Conducts analyses regarding issues that have an impact on the operation of a specific functional area and makes recommendations to management

• Maintains project schedules and reviews documents for technical accuracy

• Performs ad hoc projects, report development, modeling, and other miscellaneous projects

• Extracts, organizes, analyzes, and reports data in a manner that is useful and relevant for making business decisions

• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

• Communicates and explains operational performance through P&L

• Collaborates effectively with colleagues from all departments

Job Overview

Employees in this role support the overall P and L management of one or more NextEra generating assets. This position supports budgeting and forecasting, analyzing P and L variance, participating in ad hoc and special projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducts basic operational analyses that supports informed decision making within the business unit, under the direction of a supervisor

  • Leads small to medium sized special projects

  • Performs quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
