Intel Director, Senior Technical Data Services Leader in Juneau, Alaska

Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Director, Senior Technical Data Services to lead our Data Management team, focusing on Technical Data Services. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in data quality, data governance, metadata management and technical data architecture. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex data integration projects and geographical teams, with a passion for driving data excellence across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Data Quality and Data Governance Advisors to systematically gather functional and technical specifications.

  • Oversee enterprise-wide data cleansing and data profiling activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

  • Lead the development and implementation of data quality and data governance platform solutions integration.

  • Own the IT Data Management Framework and Roadmap.

  • Manage and mentor Technical Architecture and Development Teams, coordinating daily activities and assignments across various geographic locations.

  • Develop professionals’ services SOWs and manage those SOW engagements with the Service Provider Vendors.

  • Provide coaching to developers on industry best practices for data tool development, fostering the enhancement of their technical skills.

  • Establish a robust Data Control Framework and create a comprehensive Developers Guide to standardize development practices.

  • Serve as the solutions architect for data services, including Data Quality, Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Data Risk Management.

  • Develop and improve the Data Services Delivery process to effectively scale with the demands of internal business partners.

  • Take ownership of enhancing the data architecture and data models for the Data Quality and Data Governance platforms.

  • Define and oversee the AI/ML Data Lifecycle, from data acquisition to governance and monitoring.

  • Design standard callable data services APIs to facilitate data standardization and integration.

  • Formulate data standards for Data Quality, Data Governance, and Metadata Management.

  • Strategize and implement the Metadata ecosystem cataloging strategy, along with operational processes to maintain and scale the metadata platform.

  • Innovate data cataloging with AI-driven tagging techniques to synchronize business logical metadata with physical technical metadata.

  • Hands-on expertise with Data Quality Tools, preferably Informatica, and Data Governance/Metadata tools, preferably Collibra or Informatica CDGC/Axon.

  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning and familiarity with AI Data Lifecycle Acquisition and Curation.

  • Knowledge in designing and building Data Marketplaces and Data Governance UX.

  • Experience in Master Data Management and Reference Data Management

  • Proficiency in developing Data Dashboards and designing KPI/Metrics.

Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of experience in Data Management within global companies.

  • A proven track record of managing development, Data Operations, and Infrastructure Teams.

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Systems Management, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, or Computer Architecture.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $195,804.00-$312,686.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
