Qualifications:

Applicants for this position should first have a positive attitude and find joy in working with youth. Applicants will be expected to have a bachelor's degree. Applicants must either hold a current Utah teaching license with the secondary Language Arts endorsement or be willing to obtain proper licensure. All potential employees must pass a background check.

Job Description and Function:

The successful applicant will be expected first to be a quality role model for young people. The successful applicant will be responsible for all of the regular teaching duties outlined in district policy #1138. This position will teach varying Language Arts courses ranging from 7th grade to 12th grade. This position may also be asked to teach other courses as needed. The successful applicant will also complete other job duties as assigned by the principal.
