Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation and maintenance of landscaping projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and aesthetics. This role involves performing a variety of physical tasks outdoors, contributing to the beautification of residential and commercial properties. We offer a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and installation of landscapes, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery.
• Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and other tools.
• Lay sod, build retaining walls, install irrigation systems, and perform other landscape construction tasks as directed.
• Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow shoveling, and de-icing.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and to the client's satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation systems, and landscape construction techniques is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and wind.
