Job Title: Production/General Labor Positions

Hourly Rate: $20.00

Location: Joplin, MO

Adecco is currently seeking motivated individuals for long-term Production/General Labor positions on behalf of our esteemed client in Joplin, MO. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and kickstart your career in a manufacturing environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Efficiently package products

• Place products on pallets

• Operate machinery

*Qualifications for Production Candidates:*

• Team player mindset

• Dependable and punctual – must be flexible with scheduling depending on weather conditions

• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly for 12 hours

• High school Diploma or GED Required

*Additional Qualifications - What You Will Bring:*

• 1-3 years of related experience, preferably in a progressively responsible role within a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge and proficiency in the use of hand and power tools

• Experience with Distributive Control Systems and/or PC control systems is preferred

• Effective communication skills with the ability to be a self-starter and interact with plant personnel daily

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

*Requirements for Consideration:*

• Successful completion of background and drug screening

• Flexibility in working different shifts

• Demonstrated stable work history

*Work Schedule:*

• 12-hour days, Monday through Thursday

• Occasional 8-hour shift on Fridays

• Possible overtime, ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week

*Work Environment:*

• Heavy lifting, including 50lb bags

• Shoveling, sweeping, and operating machinery

• Hot and dirty surroundings, cold in the winter

*Additional Information:*

• Steel-toed boots are required

• Successful candidates must comprehend the physical demands of the job

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
