Position is located at

3201 McClelland Blvd in Joplin, Missouri.

Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Title: AWM Trust Support Specialist

Under general supervision, the Trust Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support and superior customer service for all clients which includes opening and closing accounts, preparing disbursements, managing daily alerts, assisting with required administrative reviews, managing cash needs, setting and maintaining coding for tax purposes; and coordinating responses to customer inquiries. Maintains clear communication, is detail oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize and think through processes.

What Youll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Interact daily with internal and external contacts to ensure all account activity is processed timely. This includes deposits, distributions, wire transfers, DDA transfers and receipts. Manages a cash balance sheet to ensure adequate cash positions remain in each account and brings cash needs to the attention of the trust officer.

Assist Trust Officer and clients with problem resolution and account maintenance. Manages the day-to-day operational issues regarding transactions by performing research and serving as liaison between trust operations and Trust Officer and/or client.

Assist Trust Officer in meeting clients reporting needs as well as responding to clients inquiries regarding statements, transactions, and tax matters.

Review daily transactions for overdrafts and accuracy in spelling, delivery and amount.

Assist Trust Officer in maintaining tax coding and assist in producing all tax documents needed to file timely returns and process payments required.

Coordinate transition of new accounts including account set-up packet, transfer of assets, and all coding. Also coordinates disposition of assets, final fees, and final tax reporting for closed accounts.

Perform routine administrative activities including answering phone calls and email, sorting incoming physical mail, staying current on imaging and filing, working with Trust Unique Assets to coordinate various vendors (i.e., lawn service, caretakers, etc.), and various special projects as assigned.

Assist Trust Officer and Unique Assets team in securing and booking special assets including personal property and real property.

Initiate monthly account reviews in ARS for the Trust Officer to review, complete, and sign.

Input Trust Officer call information into Client Link and Profiler.

Schedule Standby Trust Review meetings for Trust Officer.

Identify and make referrals to all bank partners.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.

Responsibilities:

Toolbox for Success:

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

2 years of business-related experience required; Trust, Investment, and/or Bank administrative support work preferred.

Basic knowledge of Bank products and services required.

Basic knowledge of taxation required.

Intermediate level user of MS Office and/or Google programs required.

Completion of Trust Support training coursework required within 18 months of employment required.

Associate or bachelors degree preferred.

Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Pay Range:$18.95 - $22.50 per hour
