Position Summary:

The Early College Programs Project Coordinator will assist the Director of Early College Programs with projects and duties related to the unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will work with the Director of the Early College Programs and their duties will include:

  • Assist with Early College Programs Admissions

  • Assist with processing applications during the busiest times

  • Assist with answering student emails and calls during busiest times

  • Assist with enrollment

  • Assist with course requests for Scarlet Shirt Freshman students

  • Sending out of rosters at class start and processing roster corrections as received/needed

  • Recruitment with travel as required

    Administrative duties:

  • Assist with accreditation

  • Maintain the database

  • Maintain Parental consent forms

  • Assist with MOU’s planning and implementation

  • Assist with mid-term Grade alerts

  • Assist with Communications with H.S Counselors

  • Assist with TaskStream and Assessment

  • Perform Data Reporting

  • Effectively create Early College courses in banner

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Requires initiative, innovation, problem-solving skills, strong communication skills (verbally and in writing).

Able to demonstrate strong communication skills, the candidate should be able to network with departments and high schools.

Able to promote the program to all new students and encourage them to attend and apply

In time-sensitive situations, the candidate should be able to triage and manage hectic situations in a calm and effective manner

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday

8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Additional hours as requested and/or needed

Regular and reliable attendance

Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

An earned Master's Degree

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor's Degree is required
