Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the financial systems for the performance management/business intelligence software solution, IBM Cognos TM1, including systems management, maintenance and optimization.

  • Specific responsibilities include loading and consolidating data from multiple sources, maintaining and updating system metadata/business rules/forms (areas include chart of accounts/mapping tables, dimensions, entity hierarchy, and other items), performing system upgrades, monitoring system performance, conducting validations and testing, and ensuring proper system security, controls, workflows, transformation rules, data integration and data recovery

  • Ensure the system operates efficiently, securely, and effectively to support an organization's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs by collaborating with Finance and IT teams, external consultants, and vendors.

  • Perform the administration, security, and maintenance for enterprise level financial systems, primarily TM1 system.

  • Design, develop, and maintain planning analytics models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and reports within an iterative development environment within TM1 systems.

  • Develop solutions to integrate between IBM Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics with Watson (PAW) dashboards and IBM Planning Analytics reports (PASS).

  • Work with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate Planning Analytics solutions.

  • Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications.

  • Build and deploy Planning Analytics solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures.

  • Ensure test plans, unit tests and peer reviews are carried out for all development life cycle.

  • Perform a backup responsibility for the IBM BI Report writing, ERP system administration (CostPoint) and ETL processing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in BIS (Business information system), finance or accounting.

  • 2-4 years of experience in related fields with strong development and modelling background using Cognos TM1/ IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 Rules, Feeders, Turbo Integrator processes, and system configuration.

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

  • Ability to explain and elaborate complex ideas effectively to various stakeholders.

  • Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.

  • Excellent project and time management skills.

  • Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently or with a group.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ETL development using tools such as Clover.

  • Experience with Deltek's Costpoint ERP system.

  • Experience with Oracle and SQL Databases.

  • Experience with writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
