Responsibilities

• Receiving Shipments:

• Inspect and receive incoming shipments from suppliers and carriers.

• Verify that the items match the purchase orders and shipping documents in terms of quantity, quality, and description.

• Record and report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the appropriate parties.

• Unloading and Sorting:

• Safely unload goods from trucks, containers, or pallets using manual labor, forklifts, or other equipment as necessary.

• Sort and organize received items for easy access and efficient storage.

• Inventory Management:

• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or other tracking systems to reflect received items.

• Ensure accurate labeling and documentation of products for inventory control and traceability.

• Quality Control:

• Inspect items for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor or quality control team.

• Follow company procedures for handling and resolving quality issues with received goods.

• Storage and Organization:

• Properly store items in designated locations to maximize space utilization and facilitate easy retrieval.

• Ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
