Responsibilities
Provides program management expertise to for Technology Business Management (TBM) initiatives and BAU activity which includes administering TBM systems (Apptio)and tools for Optimal Performance. Works with TBM resources and companywide stakeholders to validate use case requirements and expands or modifies the TBM model and architecture as needed to align with organizational objectives. Responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control procedures) within the TBM space. This role will manage resources that support data needs and maintain security while managing upgrades. This role is also responsible for managing and maintaining TBM activities focused on analysis and reporting including development of detailed reports and analyses to meet the needs of customers, leveraging a strong financial background and a solid understanding of information technology infrastructure. Strong quantitative, analytical, and project management skills are required. Incumbents may utilize agile software development methodologies.
The TBM Program Manager I will be responsible for:
60% Strategic / 40% Operational Delivery. Primary focus of role is on strategic planning and oversight of day-to-day operational execution.
Provide thought leadership to the organization around business intelligence & data management and data integration solutions for Apptio.
Design and execute short and long-term strategic plans for a data architecture roadmap that allows data and data strategies to be leveraged across TBM.
Create financial transparency around the ‘business drivers’ that define the Enterprise Technology and Security cost structure including the differentiated evolution story of the technology investment across regions & individual businesses lines.
Sets overall direction for business requirement phases in all development and maintenance initiatives for TBM.
Expert consultant on business and management direction for strategic projects with a focus on cross-divisional strategies for TBM.
Conducts research, develops, and presents feasibility studies and proposals on TBM strategic initiatives.
Functions as in-house consultant/expert for resolution of complex business issues related to Apptio.
Shapes the business as partner/influencer by seeking out industry trends and organization knowledge to generate and recommend alternative approaches.
Provides support to business partners on day-to-day use of the application (Apptio).
Leads in identifying, tracking, escalating and/or resolving business systems issues.
Provides consulting services to project teams on project initiatives.
Collaborates with stakeholders and business line to create change management process as required.
Lead technical team in analyzing system issues, formulating resolutions, and implementing solutions.
Primary responsibilities include
The incumbent is responsible for program planning and strategy, which includes the development of comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
In addition to program planning, the incumbent is responsible for program execution and delivery, and stakeholder management, which includes engaging and influencing stakeholders at various levels, building strong relationships and managing expectations.
The incumbent is also responsible for program governance and controls, which includes establishing and maintain program governance structures, including steering committees and program review boards.
Lastly, the incumbent is responsible for team leadership and development, which may include leading and mentoring program teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’ Degree accounting, finance, or information systems
5-8 years’ experience working in TBM practice preferable as leader and or platform manager.
Strong hands on and strategic experience Apptio and the TBM framework
Certified Technology Business Management Executive (CTBME) Certification
Strong capabilities with Excel and HTML
Strong attention to detail and pattern/anomaly recognition
Demonstrated ability to solve highly complex problems within and across teams - effective in fostering cross-functional collaboration between technical and non-technical personnel.
Experience leveraging new and innovative processes to deliver enterprise efficiency improvements through global service functions.
Experience managing a team is required including a demonstrated ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40 hours
Work Schedule: M-F
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
