$95,998.00 Minimum Starting Base Pay* + KPI Bonuses + Competitive Benefits

*Qualifications may warrant greater starting base pay within the full pay range. Individual base pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

Position Summary

A Software Engineer’s duties and responsibilities revolve around the software development life cycle. Engineers work with teams of coders to create software programs for computers, mobile devices and websites. They update end-user software and conduct quality control functions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.

  • Design algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems.

  • Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.

  • Test and deploy programs and applications.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software.

  • Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.

  • Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.

  • Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.

  • Maintain the security of confidential information

  • Stay abreast of advances in technology

  • Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance

  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency in popular coding languages including Java, .Net and frameworks or systems such as AngularJS and Git.

  • Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of Object-Relational Mapping frameworks.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience with ORACLE and SQL servers.

  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.

  • Skilled in time management.

  • Skilled in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and changing priorities.

  • Skilled in identifying, analyzing and resolving problems.

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to listen to and understand information verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to set priorities.

Minimum Qualifications - (Education, Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • Directly related experience may be substituted for education

  • Three years of experience in a related field
