Dycom Project Manager in Johnson City, Tennessee

Are you a seasoned Project Manager in the cable construction industry? We are looking for you! The

Project Manager position requires at least 5 years of experience in Fiber, the Cable Industry and

leading teams. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of multiple projects

and will focus on high levels of planning, delegation, and more. The Project Manager Ops requires

leadership skills including team building and management across projects. A Project Manager Ops

focuses on developing project objectives and strategies by assessing how it will impact their

department, project, or organization. For each project, they will define and oversee the people and

processes needed to reach their targeted goals. At a minimum, the position requires multiple years’

experience working in the cable telecommunications industry; ability to use a computer and other

office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

• Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of an assigned area, department, or

project;

• Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance;

• Implement and maintain processes to assist completion of tasks in support of an assigned area,

department, or project;

• Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist an assigned area,

department, or project;

• recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain talent for team building & development;

• the ability to manage multiple projects to completion;

• the ability to function effectively in a high-stress situation;

• the ability to communicate with Company personnel, customers, and contractors to ensure tasks are

completed.

  • Previous supervisory and/or managerial experience.

  • At least 5 years of related work experience in cable construction and Fiber.

  • Advanced proficiency in project management skills including planning, organizing, and

  • coordinating tasks.

  • Authorized to work in the United States.

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle recordcheck
