Kelly Services Warehouse Clerk in Jesup, Georgia

Job Summary:

We are seeking a temporary Warehouse Support employee to assist with the additional workload created by SAP4. This role will involve supporting domestic and export coordinators, providing relief for vacant roles, and assisting in refining processes and procedures. The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft Excel, be a self-starter, and work well in a collaborative team environment.

Job Specifications:

  • Job Type: Temporary, 3-Months

  • Location: Jesup, GA

  • Pay Rate: $28.00 -$32.00/hr.

  • Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan loads for export orders, prepare load documents, and coordinate with finishing for required dates and mode of transport.

  • Collect and post container waybills, including manually loaded containers and addressing any problematic issues within SAP.

  • Manage seven offsite warehouses to ensure all products are loaded to fill each order and meet customer demand.

  • Update the spreadsheet for each warehouse twice a week and communicate daily to minimize customer complaints and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Confirm correct lot and package ranges are loaded for each order, including the upcoming eighth offsite warehouse.

  • Determine (post loads in SAP) for all orders loaded at off-site warehouses, verifying lot and package information.

  • Communicate and verify lots/packages loaded by the off-site warehouse to ensure correct bill of lading and reduce customer complaints through proper inventory management.

  • Manually enter the packing list from six of the seven offsite warehouses for each load verified into each vehicle.

  • Create transport orders and deliveries, complete the batch determination process, and PGI the load to the port for all exported orders.

  • Coordinate with Hudd on container drop yards to ensure correct batching with deliveries, providing drivers with the correct paperwork for delivery.

  • Complete the unbatch determination process for all containers going to the drop yard, create new deliveries to the correct location, and complete the batch determination process.

  • Create deliveries to the port and complete the batch determination process once containers arrive at the drop yard.

  • Create deliveries to the port and complete the batch determination process once containers gate into the port.

  • Merge load sheets, waybills, and Lot Inquiry printouts, filing them in order folders.

  • Manage Jesup Warehouse daily operations when the Warehouse.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus one-year business school or equivalent.

  • 3-4 years of warehouse experience.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP is required .

  • Proficiency in the use of MS suite of applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Power BI Reporting
