Geisinger Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Pulmonary Sleep Medicine Geisinger Jersey Shore in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania

Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1-2 years of Advance Practice experience interested in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine to provide comprehensive assessment and care delivery while demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and management of patients.

Job Duties

At a Glance:

  • Practice 50% Pulmonary and 50% Sleep

  • Mostly outpatient clinic work at Geisinger Jersey Shore and Muncy but there could be periodic consults/visits in the hospital, at Jersey Shore Hospital.

  • Monday-Friday, typical clinic hours and no call

  • Participate in educational programs for patients with chronic lung disease

  • Employ complex education strategies and interventions to promote, maintain and improve health and prevent illness and injury

  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to identify and resolve patient care issues
