JPMorgan Chase Software Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Lead cloud engineering team to build automation, developer tools and platform enabling applications migration to public cloud. Responsible for design, architecture, and migration of software applications to both public and private clouds. Build and maintain various tools and platforms for software application monitoring and development. Setup Observability, Telemetry, Failure Mode Effective Analysis (FMEA), and chaos frameworks. Set up Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) pipeline for container builds and roll out using container orchestrator for non-production and production environments. Manage stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer System Analyst, Application Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Public clouds such as AWS or Azure; Terraform; monitoring and logging platforms such as Splunk, Datadog, or Grafana; Software Development Life Cycle; GIT; JIRA; Agile processes; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) using Jenkins; Docker; Kubernetes or AWS ECS; high level programming; Development and Package Management for Java, Python, Golang andTomcat; Sprint Boot Application Stacks; Application Performance tools such as Dynatrace or Wily; and Load Balancers such as F5 or HA-Proxy.

Full-Time. Salary: $215,000 - $285,000 per year.
