Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.DUTIES: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre- defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field of study plus one [1] year of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation. Developing software with a Java front end and an Oracle Database; Develop Java Microservices and deploying them on AWS cloud; AWS cloud; AWS full stack software engineering; testing, releasing, and CI/CD pipeline deployments in AWS public cloud; Developing ETL pipeline using Python; Developing and optimizing SQL Queries; Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Docker containers; API testing tools such as SOAPUI or Postman; Building JavaScript applications using Angular framework; Developing Java applications utilizing the Spring Framework; Performing optimization and performance tuning in Applications requiring complex and broad data sets; Creating build scripts to automate the build process using Maven or Jenkins; Use CI/CD tools Bitbucket, Jenkins, or GIT to version control, build, store artifact, and deploy the software projects; system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline, including cloud.
