Our Jersey City branch is looking for a new Road Logistics Operations Specialist to join our Road Logistics team.

Your Role

As our Road Logistics Operations Specialist, you will receive, investigate and respond to all of our customer inquiries regarding shipments, products and complaints. Your day will include receiving phone and email orders, making sure all relevant data is inputted into our TMS to ensure a smooth process for our customers.

Your Responsibilities

• Receive and process bookings through email or direct integration with our TMS.

• Secure trucks from carrier partners and web-based load boards.

• Confirm bookings with shippers and consignees.

• Arrange necessary appointments for pick-up and delivery.

• Follow up to ensure shipments adhere to schedules.

• Capture transportation-related KPIs for each customer.

• Communicate with customers via phone or email.

Your Skills and Experiences

• 3+ years experience in the logistics industry.

• 1+ years experience in the BioPharma Industry and/or in a temperature controlled warehousing environment.

• Proficient at managing multiple tasks and prioritizing based on urgency.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
