JPMorgan Chase Product Owner in Jersey City, New Jersey

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work with various stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap for building out new products within Wholesale Credit Risk. Collaborate with Technology teams to define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on business needs, feedback from senior stakeholders and regulatory demands in Wholesale Credit Risk. Collaborate with other Product Owners and cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across other product and platform deliveries within Wholesale Credit Risk including ensuring consistency in the usage of data models, uniform system design & integration points to minimize technical debt (such as duplicative code implementations, tactical fixes and other technical concessions that are made to meet short term goals at the expense of long term maintainability and scalability). Communicate product requirements and priorities to the development teams, and collaborate with them to ensure successful implementation of the product. Analyze data and conduct testing to evaluate product performance and ensure accurate product delivery. Communicate product's performance to senior stakeholders by developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives, Key Results (OKRs) and socializing them periodically in product cabinets and other forums. Ensure delivery of products by developing and managing the product backlog, tracking progress and resolving issues. Develop relationships with senior stakeholders within Wholesale Credit Risk and Technology teams and other Lines of Business (LOB) business partners as needed. Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, scrum meetings and provide best practices related guidance to technology and business teams. Ensure that technology solutions developed are scalable, reliable and meet regulatory and compliance requirements. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in credit risk management, and identify opportunities to leverage these technologies to improve business processes and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Risk Management, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Owner, Senior Vice President, Advisory Manager, Senior Consultant, Senior Business Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Credit risk management, including risk processes, risk measurement, and U.S. regulatory landscape for risk and capital management including Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL), IFRS9, and Basel rules; software development processes, technologies and best practices, including data modeling, data lineage, system architecture and integration; agile development practices, including sprint planning, backlog grooming and agile ceremonies; project management; issue and change management tools such as JIRA; SQL and writing queries to extract data from complex datasets; data visualization tools such as Tableau; DevOps practices and tools; cloud platforms such as AWS; user experience principles and practices.

Job Location: 545 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $200,034 - $200,034 per year.
