Robert Half Procurement Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Procurement Analyst at our office in Jersey City, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a critical part in our procurement operations by providing analytical support, tracking, and reporting on key performance indicators, and developing effective vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze procurement operations to identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities

• Track and report on procurement KPIs, using these metrics to measure the effectiveness of the procurement organization and vendors

• Develop and maintain vendor scorecards to ensure supplier performance aligns with our organizational expectations and contractual obligations

• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and procurement team members to support the RFx process, vendor selection, and contract negotiations

• Conduct thorough market research and benchmarking to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, utilizing this knowledge to drive value and operational efficiencies

• Assist in managing vendor relationships to ensure value delivery

• Lead small and medium-sized projects as assigned, focusing on driving process improvements and efficiencies

• Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier diversity initiatives and programs, including identifying diverse vendors

• Utilize SharePoint for application development and deployment

• Use Microsoft Excel and automation platforms to optimize procurement processes Requirements • Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis

• Ability to create compelling presentations for various stakeholders

• Familiarity with About Time software and Mindset Software

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive continuous improvement

• Experience in managing vendor relations

• Deep understanding of procurement processes and best practices

• Knowledge in optimization methods and KPI reporting

• Experience in process improvement and deployment strategies

• Ability to work onsite as required

• Familiarity with market research techniques

• Experience in application development is a plus

• Commitment to being detail oriented and learning

• Proficiency in SharePoint Administration

• Experience in benchmarking and setting performance standards

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with vendors and stakeholders.
