Robert Half Procurement Analyst in Jersey City, New Jersey

Description We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our team based in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role is crucial for supporting procurement operations, working closely with our third-party vendor and Source to Pay Platform. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization by contributing to the success of our procurement team and driving continuous improvement across the function.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the procurement team to provide spend analytics and identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.

• Develop, track, and report procurement KPIs to measure the performance of the procurement organization and vendors.

• Prepare and maintain vendor scorecards to ensure supplier performance meets organizational expectations and contractual obligations.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the RFx process, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.

• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices to drive value and operational efficiencies.

• Support procurement team members in managing vendor relationships to ensure value delivery.

• Manage small and medium-sized projects as assigned, driving process improvements and efficiencies.

• Analyze and optimize the procurement process to drive cost savings and identify process improvement opportunities.

• Contribute to the development of supplier diversity initiatives and programs, including the identification of diverse vendors.

• Develop and create engaging PowerPoint slide decks for Procurement presentations to senior leadership. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint is essential

• Demonstrable experience in procurement and vendor relations

• Strong analytical skills and experience in analytics

• Experience in reporting and KPI reporting

• Ability to conduct market research and benchmarking activities

• Knowledge of best practices in procurement

• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage stakeholders

• Experience with optimization and process improvement strategies

• Familiarity with application development and SharePoint administration

• Experience with "About Time" and "Mindset Software" will be an advantage

• Ability to create and deliver presentations

• Experience in professional development and driving continuous improvement initiatives

• Onsite deployments experience is a plus.
