JPMorgan Chase Manager of International Tax Compliance- Executive Director in Jersey City, New Jersey

Job summary:
As a Manager of International Tax Compliance- Executive Director within our International Tax Compliance team, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals focusing on international tax matters. You will have the opportunity to mentor the team, oversee tax form preparation, manage tax provisions, and work closely with other teams to ensure optimal tax strategies. This role will allow you to stay updated on international tax laws, manage external advisors, and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Your expertise in international tax concepts, public accounting, and multinational operations will be highly valued. An MBA with emphasis in tax, or an MST and/ or a CPA license is preferred. Experience with Alteryx, BI tools, SAP, OneSource Income Tax and/or OneSource Tax Provision is a plus.
Job responsibilities:
Lead, train, and mentor the international compliance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Oversee the preparation and review of all U.S. international tax forms included in JPMorgan's U.S. consolidated return.
Manage the preparation and review of current and deferred U.S. tax provision related to JPMorgan's non-US operations
Work alongside JPMorgan's tax accounting, tax planning and non-US tax teams to determine JPMorgan's quarterly foreign tax credit position in each relevant FTC basket
Partner with JPMorgan tax planning team to model the impact of corporate actions and identify US reporting obligations in real time
Work alongside JPMorgan tax audit team to achieve equitable resolution of tax audits
Stay up to date on international tax laws and understand how changes impact JPMorgan's tax footnote and reporting obligations
Effectively manage external advisors assisting with bespoke tax return preparation
Manage a dedicated team of 10 professionals, focusing exclusively on international tax matters.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders both within corporate tax and the broader corporate finance team on corporate tax matters
Conduct ad hoc tax research to support strategic decision making
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
A minimum of 10 years of relevant international tax experience, with demonstrated leadership skills and a deep understanding of international tax concepts, including foreign tax credits, GILTI, BEAT, Subpart F.
Experience in public accounting and/or working with a U.S. based multinational is required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
An MBA with emphasis in tax, or an MST and/ or a CPA license is preferred.
Experience with Alteryx, BI tools and SAP is a plus.
Knowledge of OneSource Income Tax and/or OneSource Tax Provision is a plus and preferred.
