Job Summary:
Participate in all phases of software engineering life cycle and troubleshoot technical problems as needed.
Design, develop, and maintain applications, infrastructure, and platform according to changing requirements and following established processes and procedures.
Facilitating the integration of third-party services, applications and functionalities to enhance web performance
Lead in designing, developing, coding, and/or enhancing applications, features, infrastructure, user interfaces, and/or application frameworks
Monitor, test, analyze, and evaluate application performance; resolve issues and/or recommend improvements.
Test, debug, and/or oversee the testing and validation of applications to ensure that quality and functionality are in line with the requirements
Troubleshoot issues and problems, comes up with clear action plan(s) to resolve such issues, develops, tests and implements the agreed solution into production
Required Skills:
10+ years of Experience within a technology organization in the banking, financial services, or financial technology industries.
10+ years of Programming/systems analysis experience with emphasis in applications and systems, architectural and database design and development
Experience developing at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services and back end/database)
Perform application design and programming activities in the latest technologies from Microsoft Frameworks and Java Frameworks and Python
Proficient with object-oriented and functional languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
Experience with web technologies: Restful APIs, Asp.Net, MVC, Angular JS, Web API, Java,
Experience integrating APIs with enterprise systems and developing SOAP and REST JSON web services and clients
Experience in designing data models and structures to store various kinds of data in different formats
Strong experience in writing complex queries; experience working with enterprise database management system (RDBMS) such as SQL or Oracle, and with stored procedures
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Experience with AWS, Azure, or any cloud provider, preferably in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience using API programming languages and frameworks implementing Restful APIs, Docker, CI/CD, Microservice Architecture, Serverless
Experience of Messaging frameworks like MQ, SFTP
Proficient with SDLC project and process management tools and methodologies (Agile, waterfall, and other delivery methodologies)
Experience creating end to end data pipelines as well as CI/CD pipelines for applications delivery
Knowledgeable in DevOps workflow tooling
Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management skills.
Preferred Skills:
3+ years of Strong understanding of Commercial Lending business processes including Syndicated Loans, Bilateral Loans etc.
3+ years of Experience in supporting industry standard applications in Commercial Lending Area.
3+ years of Experience in Java, Loan IQ APIs and Loan IQ data model preferred.
Solid knowledge of Loan IQ product configuration including table maintenance and batch jobs
Prior experience of working on Loan IQ integration with upstream and downstream applications.
Education:
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline
Job Location:
As per MUFG’s Location & Return to Office Strategy policy, must work onsite for 4 days and 1 day remote out of our 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ office.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $134K $182K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
