Citigroup IT Project Tech Lead in Jersey City, New Jersey

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Project Tech Lead for its Jersey City, New Jersey location.

Duties: Leverage operational and technology subject matter expertise, experience, and extensive project organization to lead reengineering efforts in business's methodology, strategy, and organizational goals to simplify processes and procedures. Utilize product knowledge to assess events with complex and variable issues that have substantial potential for impactful risk and governance breaches. Perform critical assessment and failure mode analysis to identify whether actual loss or nearly miss breached thresholds. Execute escalation alerts as needed. Ensure policy and standards are fully supported from an end-to-end outlook including data governance, major incident management, corrective action plans, escalation protocols, and end user computing remediation efforts. Perform data integrity reviews of stability metrics, upcoming audit and regulatory reports, event escalations and hiring plan forecasts across technology product and focus areas including custody, funds, execution services, issuer services, and client coverage. Report system control issues. Monitor incoming actual and near miss loss events to ensure solid governance and proactive escalation of events. Review forums globally with specific ownership of the North American region. Allocate resources to various work duties utilizing central repositories and track deliverable target dates. Lead cross training coverage. Address root causes of data quality issues by applying prior program management expertise to test new platforms within the simplification and efficiency model. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Requires a High School Diploma, or foreign equivalent, and 7 years of experience as a Program/Project Manager, Senior Business Associate, or related position involving managing and tracking technical, risk, and control projects for a global financial services institution. 7 years of experience must include: Project management, including tracking multiple ongoing projects with project tracking tools; Knowledge of Securities Services Products including Custody, Funds, Middle Office, and Issuer; Identifying residual and emerging risks within a regulatory, audit and control nature; Completing internal and external audits; Reviewing, analyzing and addressing data quality issues and root causes of issues; Knowledge of global regulatory requirements including Dodd-Frank, General Data Protection Regulations, Continuity of Business, and Cross Border Data Clearance requirements across North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific; and Communicating regulatory requirements to technical teams.
