Genesis Corp dba Genesis10 ETL/Informatica/Trade Surveillance: JC in Jersey City, New Jersey
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as work stream-level change lead for a sub-component of a larger program Trade Surveillances
- May be assigned to support more than one work stream or function
- Partner with a line-of-business leader or subject-matter-expert depending on the work stream that has been assigned to
- Utilize Data warehouse application built on Informatica, Oracle Exadata, UNIX shell scripts and Autosys
- Strategize, design and develop ETL process flow to support the business functions
- Lead and support the migration and upgrades of Informatica to stay current with Enterprise Architecture standard
- ETL, design, development, and implementation
- Data management, maintenance and integrity
- Agile Development utilizing SCRUM and SDLC
- Coordinate with various developers, scrum masters and analyst to prepare designs for new applications and documents all processes to ensure effective evaluation of all applications in JIRA
- Ticket driven work environment with strict standards in JIRA
- Analyze and ensure efficient transition of all technical design documents and develop various ETL/SQL packages to provide support to all application developers
- Delivery focused techno-functional role
- Perform research on all data processing functions and participate in design discussions related to the maintenance and enhancement of existing and newly created applications
- Build Release orchestration tools
Requirements:
- 10 plus years of experience in Oracle/PL SQL, ETL/Informatica
- Solid experience in Informatica ETL development for a very large data warehouse environment
- Good understanding of Informatica server components and impact analysis skill on those components are essential
- Integration knowledge to Oracle/Other RDBMS and Autosys
- Proactive problem solver that actively engages with end users and offers solutions that improve and streamline processes
- Enjoy working on a diverse set of projects and working part of a fast-paced team
- Strong SQL knowledge and ability to develop Informatica repository queries
- Strong knowledge of Unix shell scripting
- Hands on experience on Informatica Upgrade/Migration experience
- Experience in data quality approaches and techniques
- Excellent written and communication skills and ability to clearly indicate data integration solution designs and implementations
- Agile experience
- Financial Services / Banking experience
- Experience in working with larger projects involving multiple groups including nearshore and offshore teams
Desired skills:
- Performance Tuning exposure
Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
