Betfair Interactive US LLC in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Director of Product to oversee product strategy, vision, and objectives for an entire suite of products, working with PMs to create and drive roadmaps aligned to overall strategy. Evangelize product suite vision and roadmap, achieving buy-in and alignment from key stakeholders across business, partnering with commercial and engineering leaders on objectives and key results. Actively work with peers on other products to understand their strategies, identifying opportunities for collaboration and understanding intersection points between products. Define and articulate success criteria for product suite, showing how products drive user delight and business success. Manage and report on product suite performance at executive level. Ensure that teams are planning and defining work effectively, driving toward key outcomes and minimizing last-second tactical solutions. Ensure that sufficient future planning and road mapping is completed to ensure good cross-team visibility and minimize last second tactical solutions. Thought leader for product area, driving culture of innovation and quality. Remove any roadblocks in product delivery, including resolving dependencies and driving stakeholder decision-making. Assist team where needed in developing creative solutions to achieving goals. Motivate teams to hit deadlines and flag delays and mitigation strategies immediately. Oversee others who lead multiple teams, working with senior leaders to create and evangelize clear vision and strategy, ensuring alignment among teams, setting and driving organization toward goals, beginning to lead multi-tiered organization. Line manage up to Group PM level, creating goals and development plans, actively coaching/teaching product habits for all parts of the lifecycle. Independently lead team-building activities and strongly demonstrate a commitment to people management as a discipline. Provide mentoring/feedback outside of direct line. Active participant in recruiting and interview process, including taking direct responsibility for hiring onto team. Perform other duties as needed. A minimum of a Bachelor’s (or foreign equivalent) degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field (employer will accept three or four year degree as equivalent) plus 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
