Job Description

The Fiber Installation team lead is responsible leading a team of fiber optic technicians. The fiber

Installation team lead is an expert in each type of work performed and makes decisions based on

experience and the input of his Project Manager. The fiber Installation team lead reports directly to the

project manager on project status, issues with employees and equipment, and any other field level

operation issues.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of fiber splicing experience, with data center installation experience a plus.

Preferred previous management experience and strong knowledge of fiber cable construction practices.

Excellent planning, organizational, and relationship-building skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to work at heights, lift up to 80 lbs., and use hand and power tools.

Must have a valid driver's license, pass pre-employment screening, and meet DOT physical requirements. null
