RGP Consultant - Banking GRC Technology Platforms in Jersey City, New Jersey
RGP has a Banking Client looking for a Consultant to support GRC Technology Platforms Initiatives with Business Analysis and Project Management activities. The GRC Platform Consultant plays a critical role in driving successful technology implementation that supports the Bank's objectives and enhances operational efficiency.
*This is A LONG-TERM CONSULTING ROLE - expected to go 12 months or more in duration. There is a possibility the role will convert to a salaried role at the RGP client. *
*The role is PRIMARILY REMOTE BUT REQUIRES ONE DAY PER WEEK ONSITE IN JERSEY CITY, NJ (WEDNESDAYS, BASED ON THE CLIENT SCHEDULE). *
This Consultant will to manage two GRC platforms, performing hands-on Project Management and Business Analysis responsibilities including writing business requirement documents, performing regression testing and design of steps for UAT, troubleshooting Compliance Risk Assessment (CRA) issues and becoming familiar with current controls and processes, working with the internal Technology teams and at times participating in vendor meetings. Required experience includes implementing and working with GRC Platform including managing system enhancements with the Technology team and the vendor.
Ideal candidate has recent Banking or Financial Services Industry experience.
Bachelor's or other Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Finance or Related field.
Experience managing complex IT processes and projects across multiple business and technical areas.
Ability to influence people outside the immediate span of control, negotiate and resolve conflicts; work with business users, IT partners and vendors. Able to work well autonomously and be a complete self-starter
Project Management and Business Analysis experience. Related certifications such as PMP Certification, Agile or other relevant are a big plus.
Experience working with Technology vendors to implement application or infrastructure product solutions
Excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Ability to adjust to changing business requirements.
Strong initiative and demonstrated leadership in solving problems, improving processes, and providing a better experience for the business.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;
Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.
Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
IDEAL HOURLY PAY RATE RANGE IN USD: $65-90 PER HOUR / USD, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.
