JPMorgan Chase Business Manager - Vice President in Jersey City, New Jersey
T he Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firm's data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality, integrity, and security of the company's data, as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. The CDAO is also responsible for developing and implementing solutions that support the firm's commercial goals by harnessing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop new products, improve productivity, and enhance risk management effectively and responsibly. The Firmwide Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for maximizing the value and impact of data globally, in a highly governed way. It consists of several teams focused on accelerating JPMorgan Chase's data, analytics, and AI journey, including data strategy, data impact optimization, privacy, data governance, transformation and talent.
As a Vice President- Business Manager in the Chief Data Office, you will lead key initiatives that span a wide range of topics, playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our business. You will be responsible for driving strategic projects, optimizing business performance, and acting as a trusted advisor to senior management. Your work will directly impact our ability to achieve our strategic objectives and enhance our data governance practices. Job Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and effectively to executive ad-hoc requests for business and financial analysis, project management, and presentation development.
Support strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under senior leadership guidance.
Assist and communicate with the Data Governance Team in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
Work independently with a high degree of motivation and tenacity.
Collaborate closely with department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance, HR, Audit) to achieve business outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Business Head and represent the Group in various forums.
Manage business performance, coordinate business reviews, and oversee expense and vendor management.
Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks that could impact our operations.
Represent the business in internal/external working groups and create high-quality communications for senior levels.
Prepare executive management reports to support business operations and decision-making.
Develop insights and analysis to enable data-driven decision-making and partner with the communications team on strategy.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
7+ years of experience with Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related area.
Ability to articulate complex concepts into clear, C-suite quality visualizations and presentations.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation and data visualization skills.
Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills.
Ability to drive reporting and projects individually and collaboratively with cross-organizational teams.
Previous product knowledge and/or prior Business Management experience in a growth initiative.
Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Ability to present to senior and global business heads with excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions.
Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work independently.
Ability to define and deliver a strategic agenda across multiple groups with excellent project management skills.
