The Information Technology team equips our colleagues with the latest tools to complete their work efficiently and with the highest standards of excellence. The team is responsible for implementing and managing automations that enable business operations across Underwriting, Claims, Finance & more and help achieve operational efficient and productivity.

About the role

The Automation Support Lead is responsible for working cross functionally with IT and business unit teams to provide technical expertise and operational support across Automation Platforms. In this role you will be responsible for understanding Automations within AIG environment, provide technical support and demonstrate its value to business. You will also work with the automation support team to ensure BAU support activities are performed according to defined processes, policies, and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand automation Incidents & change management requests

  • Collaborate with development team to discuss the automation improvements, articulate the business value, and represent the interests of the business and stakeholders

  • Ensure automation solution is aligned to best practices and change artifacts are up to date with enhancements

  • Define best practices (people, process & tools) that enable to run Automation operations efficiency

  • Drive automation governance with business & IT stakeholders to demonstrate automation performance, value and areas of improvement

  • Manage Automation support team and guide the team on work priorities and delivery commitments

  • Planning & Execution Oversight for Automation Platform Upgrade Infrastructure Maintenance Activities

    What we are looking for

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or related field, such as Computer Science

  • 3+ years of implementing Automations using any of Automation Platforms (Automation Anywhere / Blue Prism / UI Path)

  • Sound technical knowledge of Automation environment, enabling support team to help resolve technical issues/challenges

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), ability to influence without authority.

  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills

  • Ability to build relationships and operate within a collaborative team environment

The base salary range for this position in Jersey City, NJ, is $74,212 -$92,765. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
