Summary:

  • Ability to deliver high quality professional service to internal and external customers, understanding all aspect of loan processing, ensuring requests are processed accurately within established credit guidelines and departmental procedures
  • Read and understand all commercial loan documents including notes, agreements, and understand how the data is set up on the required loan system.
  • Perform completeness check to ensure system matches executed documents; ensure knowledge of the Commercial lending products and services, including an understanding of a Credit Agreement, loan funding mechanics, deal structure, funds flow, etc.
  • Process loan portfolio seamlessly and accurately and anticipates business needs
Key Responsibilities:

In addition to those noted in the summary:
  • Handles more complex commercial loan transactions (syndications, etc)
  • Monitors delinquencies and evaluates loan issues - resolving as needed.
  • Receptive to increasing levels of responsibilities and additional process improvement projects at management's request
  • Ensures the timely clearing of cash, Suspense and WIP accounts
  • Responsible to reconcile/verify any investor lists (excel templates) are accurate with ACBS.
  • Ensures Department policies and procedures are adhered to and data input is accurate.
  • Other loan related and miscellaneous tasks (i.e. Break funding, DDA related, Manual entries, manual statements, etc.).
Skills, Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented
  • Accounting, financial experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Time management and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and open to change
  • Effective problem-solving skills as well as oral and written communication skills
  • Self-Starter with ability to work well independently as well as with a Team
  • Ability to set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress toward goals and track activities.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite
  • Working Knowledge of Commercial Loan Systems - ACBS, preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required, Advanced education preferred
  • 2-4 years of prior experience with the tasks above
The estimated salary range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 USD an hour. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
