Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer with over 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD processes specifically for SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools and methodologies, enabling us to streamline software delivery and improve product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain CI/CD Pipelines:
Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Jenkins, and GitLab.
Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
Container Management:
Build and manage containerized applications using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
Enable cloud-native practices to enhance our applications' scalability and reliability.
Source Control Management:
Utilize version control systems such as Bitbucket, GitLab, and GitHub to achieve optimal code management and collaboration.
Implement branching strategies to support continuous integration efforts.
Scripting and Automation:
Create and maintain scripts in Shell, Python, or other languages to automate deployment and operational tasks.
Monitor CI/CD workflows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes for efficiency and reliability.
Linux Administration:
Operate and manage applications in a Linux environment, ensuring optimal performance and resource management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in CI/CD processes for SaaS applications.
Strong expertise in using TKE (Tencent Kubernetes Engine) for orchestration and scaling.
Proficient in container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes, with experience deploying applications in Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
Solid understanding of Linux systems with experience in scripting languages like Shell and Python.
Familiarity with source control tools like Bitbucket, GitLab, and GitHub.
The base salary range for this position is $91,457 - $137,186, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
