Position Summary

BBandE isseekinga dynamic and detail-orientedProject Engineerto join our team, supportingthe Pacific Air Forces (PACAF)onsiteatJointBasePearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu, HI.The position involves working on both classified and unclassified networks for the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD).

JobDuties andResponsibilities

• AdviseSite Security Manager for construction areas that are of higher security
• Performdesign and construction management
• Interact with senior engineering professionals from multiple disciplines
• Work withcodes, standards,designand construction requirements for renovation of a historic administrative facility, Secret Open Storage Areas (SOSA), and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF)

KeyQualifications

• U.S. CitizenshipandanactiveDoDSecretSecurity Clearanceandanactive TS/SCI clearancearerequired
• Aprofessional engineering license(PE)in civil,mechanicalor electrical engineering isrequired
• Knowledge
  • Must be highly experienced with codes, standards, design, and construction requirements related to SOSA and SCIF
  • Experienceddirectly supporting creation and technicalexpertiseregardingnon-advisory andassistancecontracts, including SRM, SRM-like, MILCON, or other repair and renovation contracts for the Air Force or DoD agency
  • Experiencedworking as a site security manager and the development of construction security plans
• Strong Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software:Proficiencyusing MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Experienceand Education

• Experience:Musthave a minimum often(10) years experienceas an engineer doing design and construction management interacting with senior engineering professionals from multiple disciplines, including a minimum of six(6)years of experience working at Air Force MAJCOM, numbered Air Force, or Field Operating Agency-level programs, directly supporting management in planning and programming activities
• Education:Bachelordegree or higherfroman ABET (The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Inc.) accredited Engineering college

Physical Requirements

• Ability toremainin a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
• Ability tooperateoffice equipment, including computer, copy machine, phone, etc.
• Capable oflightlifting,under10lbs.
