BBandE team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.

Position Summary

BBandE isseekinga dynamic and detail-orientedCommunications Technicianto join our team, supportingthe Pacific Air Forces (PACAF)onsiteatJointBasePearl Harbor-Hickam, Honolulu, HI.The position involves working on both classified and unclassified networks for the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD).

JobDuties andResponsibilities

• Responsible forplanning, programming,anddesign,andengineering and/or construction managementforAir ForceandDoDcommunications networksincludingsecureopen storage areas(SOSA) andsensitivecompartmented information facilities(SCIF)
• Installsecurity systems, including alarms, access control, and other related systems

KeyQualifications

• U.S. CitizenshipandanactiveDoDSecretSecurity Clearanceisrequired
• Knowledge:Must be experienced with codes, standards, design,and construction requirementsrelated toSOSA and SCIF
• Strong Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Software:Proficiencyusing MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Self-Starter:Highly motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines autonomously

Experienceand Education

• Experience:Musthave a minimum of six (6) years experiencewith security alarms, access control, and systems
• Education:Minimum of aHigh School diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability toremainin a stationary position/sit at least 60% of the time
