Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intermediate Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to provide technical support to the MDA Chief Architect's Warfighter/International Integration office (MDA/CAI) in its mission as the single point of contact for the Japan-U.S. IAMD CONOPS Testbed (JUST) project. Additionally, you will provide direct and daily on-site liaison interface to the Pacific IAMD Center (PIC) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI, in executing the JUST planning, event, assessment and report. The work will be performed as part of an on-site contractor team at MDA and PIC facilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support JUST planning, develop objectives, and assess execution and results. a) Support event conferences and workshops, event analyses, and reporting. b) Develop and communicate event purpose, objectives, and scenario development. c) Develop pre event academic materials in coordination with COCOM personnel. d) Interface directly with foreign officials on event development.

  • Coordinate JUST-related activities at the direction of MDA/CAI with the Pacific IAMD Center (PIC) in order to plan, execute, assess and report on JUST events in Japan.​

  • Manage deliverable preparation and delivery by MDA and the PIC for all required JUST plans, briefings and reports to meet Joint Staff Warfighting Lab Incentive Fund (WLIF) requirements for the JUST project.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience

  • Active Secret clearance

  • Pro-active intermediate level analyst with experience in the Indo-Pacific region and the bilateral Japan –U.S. IAMD mission area.

  • Able to plan and execute required JUST project support, develop clear and concise written products, and present Japan-U.S. IAMD bilateral operations and technical matters to MDA leaders and warfighters in support of MDA/CAI.

  • Able to provide analysis in a clear, concise manner to working group meetings with over 50+ attendees in support of the JUST project.

  • Ability to travel to Japan, and other international locations, will be required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Experience working with the development and operation of the Japan-U.S. Bilateral Area Air Defense Plan and supporting Standard Operating Procedures and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.

  • Experience working with INDOPACOM, their component commands and warfighting field units in the Japan region (e.g., US Forces Japan, 5th Air Force, 7th Fleet, and/or 38th Brigade.)

  • 7+ years of experience supporting IAMD programs or other related Japan-U.S. bilateral activities.

Salary Range:

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
