Position Reports to: Housekeeping Manager, Head Housekeeper

Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining resort facilities. The job entails cleaning rooms, tidying up hallways, and other public areas of resort.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for cleaning rooms and maintaining resort facilities. Daily tasks may include vacuuming, laundry, changing sheets and towels, emptying wastebaskets, dusting, scrubbing floors, and any number of other cleaning activities. Other work areas not listed so that standards are met Housekeepers will also be required to carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies. Other duties will include keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked and organized. Also replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Will be required to know how to launder and fold clean linen and how to store them in the proper places. Will be required to know how to read and write in order to request a repair service from the maintenance department and follow up on the requests making sure they are being completed. Deliver items to the guest rooms if any requests are made, such as requesting extra towels. Other duties as requested by management
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Minimum 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent experience. Able to sit/stand for long periods of time. Be able to lift or carry small to moderate amounts of weight Detail oriented personality The ability to carry out instructions
Salary: $15.50/hour
