Robert Half is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst for a leading manufacturing company in Janesville, Wisconsin. The Sr. Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the financial performance by streamlining processes related to sales and cost analysis, understanding and managing the company's price and cost structure, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.

Responsibilities:

• Streamline processes related to sales and cost analysis to optimize financial performance

• Understand and manage the company's price and cost structure to ensure financial stability

• Support the month-end close process to contribute to the overall efficiency of financial operations

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, maintaining accountability

• Review financials with operations management, facilitating clear communication and transparency

• Continually monitor and analyze the company's financial status and health

• Assist in financial planning and analysis to guide the company's financial decisions

• Collaborate with various departments to gather and interpret financial information

• Participate in the development and implementation of financial procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial analyst role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in accounting functions

• Demonstrable experience with budget processes, including planning, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Expertise in using Dynamics Ax and D365 including PowerBI for financial planning and analysis

• Experience in margin analysis and cost analysis to support strategic decision-making

• Knowledge of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) process and its application in a manufacturing setting

• Ability to perform month-end close duties, including preparing financial statements and reports

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
