JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Employment and Training Specialist is responsible for providing case management services for FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET) program participants. The Employment and Training Specialist will be responsible for providing orientation sessions, enrollment of referred FSET participants, completing outreach and ensuring appropriate delivery of FSET components. The Employment and Training Specialist will provide case management to participants including both volunteers and non-volunteers of the FSET program. Case management services will include individualized case plans for each participant with goals to increase employability skills in order to obtain and retain employment. The individual serving in this position is required to exhibit initiative and sound judgment, the ability to work independently and an aptitude for handling sensitive information confidentially. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in data entry and possess a strong foundation in computer literacy; electronic case file recordkeeping experience is a plus.
