Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for following SOP instructions to perform a variety of tasks related to the assembly of small piece parts on an automated assembly line. This position requires a good hand/eye coordination and the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOP instructions to perform numerous job responsibilities.

• Hand assemble small piece parts on an automated assembly line.

• Assemble using fixtures and/or automated equipment.

• Rotate stations to mitigate repetitive work.

• Operate machines and pack products as needed.

• Move around and learn multiple departments.

Essential Skills

• Good hand/eye coordination.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Experience in packaging, mechanical assembly, machine operation, picking, packing, and production line.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Any type of previous experience is accepted.

• Ability to perform repetitive work with very small parts.

• Consistent attendance is required.

Work Environment & Pay

This is a 1st shift position with hours from 6am-4pm (Monday through Thursday). Any overtime would typically be on Fridays. The work environment is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable setting. Most tasks involve sitting down for the majority of the day. Pay starts at $18.00/hr

This is a position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr.
