Position Data:
Title: Weatherization Program Specialist
Grade: 5 Exempt Non-Exempt x
Reports to: Construction Manager
Basic Function or Position Summary:
Provide program support through purchasing, inventory management, file development,
and community outreach activities.Hours per week 35: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Salary $17.65/hourly
Security Clearance:Level 1 V,A,C,R
Requirements
Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:
Serve as a liaison between Chautauqua Opportunities, Inc. and partner organizations.
Provide customers with intake paperwork and assist customers with the procurement of documents necessary to determine eligibility prior to a referral to navigation.
Assist Energy Auditor with data entry and file development.
Oversee daily inventory management, ensure preparation of materials for the job sight, and manage the bi-annual inventory count.
Develop relationships with local agencies that serve low-income families and provide outreach materials for Weatherization programs.
Outreach to workforce development agencies to expand workforce development pipeline.
Assist with purchasing of materials and delivery to job site.
Assist with preparing bid packets for subcontracted vendors
Assist in the development of outreach materials for weatherization, including but not limited to public service announcements, posters, promotional items, brochures, pamphlets, and social media posts.
Attend community events to promote Weatherization Services.
Promotes agency mission.
Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.
Maintains consistent professional customer service.
Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.
Other duties as designated by supervisor.
Key Working Relationships:
A. Internal: Construction Manager, Energy Auditors, Housing Rehab Clerk, Navigators
B. External: Service staff at community agencies, customers.

Organizational Responsibilities:
Adheres to all policies and procedures.
Gathers appropriate documentation and tracks outcomes.
Participates in organizational committee structures as appropriate.
Participates in organizational and divisional management systems.
Knowledge, Skills Required:
Associate’s Degree in Sciences, Business, or Human Services required.
A minimum of two years of customer service, human services, or program management experience required.
Strong attention to detail and follow up.
Ability to build trusting relationships with program participants.
Good computer skills, including word processing, data entry and using google docs
Physical:
- Ability to lift up to and including 25-50 pounds of physical effort.
Special Requirements
Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times.
Valid Driver’s license
Reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout the county.
Works compassionately with a diverse population.
Experience navigating community programs.
Ability to work occasional non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
