Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

**Please Note: Talent further than 1 hrs and 30 minutes from the training facility will qualify for a hotel and a $30 a day per diem for meals. Please ask your recruiter, as eligibility may vary.

Overview: At MasTec Advanced Technologies, your smile and technical expertise are in demand. You won't just provide and install the most advanced home technologies around – everything from satellite dishes to home security and smart home automation – you'll be the technician customers trust. Your expertise will be center-stage every time you interact with a customer. You'll recommend the best technologies to meet the customer's needs, and you'll make sure everything is set up right, right from the start. At MasTec, your talent and your knowledge will make a difference.

We currently have opportunities in Home Installation Services that begin through our partnership with the Best Buy program. Our home installation teams learn and understand different Smart Home solutions and provide quality service while installing various products for residential customers in their area. If you have the skills to perform all installation phases, including TV mounts, sound bars, speakers, and smart home products, including door locks, smart speakers, video doorbells, and smart thermostats, this job is for you!

salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year

Responsibilities

MasTec SmartTech Experts are field-based, service-driven, professional technicians that provide in-home delivery, set-up, and installation of satellite TV, broadband, DIY security, and smart-home products. If you are passionate, knowledgeable, and talented, you should be paid for it. Compensation is performance-based with additional incentives for product sales (i.e., surge protectors, HDMI cables, screen clean). Ideal candidates desire independence in their workday, are self-starters, and like to be rewarded for daily efficiency, jobs completed, quality work, and safety.

The essential functions of this role include:
